We are looking for a PostgreSQL System Administrator for our client, who is a global information and communication technology company, for the global marketplace.

Responsibilities:

Implementation of the customer requirement as described in the respective order.
Clarification of the requirements with the customer.
Implementation of the DB requirements according to customer requirements.
Test & exemplary connection according to the operating manual.
Development, introduction, and Provision of standard procedures and concepts for the database products - Implementation of quality assurance and optimization measures (failover tests, etc.).
2nd&3rd level support in case of disruptions of the product operation for the database products, troubleshooting according to existing specifications lfd.
Edit incidents, changes, and badges.
Processing of tickets and orders according to existing orders from the Incident, Change Mgmt and Bamsstool.
Independent implementation of the regular updates of DB components.
Independent implementation of orders to eliminate safety-critical errors of DB components.
On call during nights and weekend support needed.

Requairements:

Senior PostgreSQL database administration 3rd level support.
User Administration in PostgreSQL DB.
Knowledge of Ansible scripting - Creation & modification of existing scripts.
GIT Knowledge.
Strong knowledge of Deploying Docker containers via Ansible scripts
Knowledge of LINUX deployment. (RHEL & Debian)
